Unfortunately, some wild animals are kept illegally as pets by people and are unable to be released into the wild once they come into our care. Other exotic animals are not properly cared for and/or are dumped out in the wild to fend for themselves. PSSWF has a number of resident educational wild and exotic animals that are used as ambassadors for their species. Click on an animal to learn a little bit about them.
